C14-PARIS is open to:
- the creators of sculptural pieces (from volume to mixed-media installations).
The selection of the exhibitors is established by dossier (online or paper) by the members of the jury.
The call for applications starts on January 1 and ends on January 31 2022.
The artist dossier can be sent by post to the address of C14-PARIS, 9 rue Friant 75014 Parisor online.

The jury is composed of F. Bodet, L. Crespin, L. Recchia, P. Loughran and two outside guests: an artist, a museum curator or gallery owner.
THE JURY OF THE SHOW WILL ALLOCATE 3 PRIZES
– The Gallery Prize is an exhibition in a municipal gallery in Paris or in a private French or foreign gallery.
– The Residency Prize, designed to encourage a way of working, will allow the laureate to work in a C14-Paris associated ceramics-equipped residency in France or Europe.
– The Jury Prize of the C14-Paris Association recognizes the quality of the work regardless of any other criteria. Receiving this award allows the winner to exhibit free of charge the following year on the ground floor of the Annex (20 m2)
OBLIGATIONS OF THE ASSOCIATION C14-PARIS
C14-PARIS will make a stand available to the exhibitor in accordance with what has been announced and on the given dates (except cancellation of the show independent of our will – see Art.11 of the regulations).
C14-PARIS will promote the Salon as best as it can and within the limits of its financial means:
– on its website
– by publishing newsletters
– by being present on social networks (Facebook and Instagram)
– by associating with the skills of a press agent
– by buying advertising space from strategic magazines
– by having professionals make a teaser video posted on the 1st day of the show
– by having a professional photographer produce a photographic report of the show
C14-PARIS will publish a color catalog reproducing a work of each of the exhibitors Theexhibitor will receive 2 catalogs.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE EXHIBITOR
The selected candidate must pay a participation fee of 300€. The payment can be made either in two checks of 150€ sent to the association or by bank transfer within a week after the announcement of the selection. In the absence of payment within 7 days the selection will be cancelled. This financial contribution contributes to the organization of the event and to the realization of the catalog.
Selection of works
The exhibited works result from a consensual choice made in advance by the Salon management and the artist. They must be recent and/or never exposed. The proposed works must be mainly ceramic but can be a composite. Mostly ceramic installations may contain non-ceramic elements (drawings, photos, paintings, etc.). If exhibited works, not previously submitted to the show management, are deemed contrary to the goals of the show, the management has the right to remove them.
The selected artist agrees not to exhibit in parallel in Ile de France during the 6 months preceding the Salon C14-PARIS. If the show management is notified, it will cancel the registration, even if the nature of the exhibits differs from one place to another.
Exhibitors have a standard stand of H.250 x L.300 x D.100 cm in white plywood 1.5 cm thick. Pieces on the wall, floor, or on pedestals are accepted. Exhibitors are responsible for its layout. The latter must be thought of as a real scenographic issue. The project must be submitted to the Show management and discussed. Fabrics and curtains are to be avoided. Stand lighting is planned. For reasons of fire safety, any addition of spot or electrical outlets is prohibited.
N.B.: For fire safety reasons, it is forbidden to store cartons and other packaging behind the stand or elsewhere at the exhibition venue.
Presence at the show
Exhibitors agree to be present at their stand for the duration of the Show and at the stated opening hours. In the event of a punctual and unavoidable absence, they must inform a member of the management.
Transportation of works
The return transport of the exhibited items, as well as their handling are the sole responsibility of the exhibitors.
Accommodation in Paris is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Insurance of exhibitors’ works
The association C14-PARIS does not insure exhibitors or works. It is the responsibility of everyone to subscribe to an individual civil insurance and to insure their works against breakage or theft. The artists are solely responsible for the objects presented or stored in their stand as well as damage caused to third parties because of their installation.
Each exhibitor will assign his or her rights to the use of the visuals for the catalog between early April and the end of November to promote the event (print and internet). Each exhibitor assigns his or her rights to the use of the images made during the Salon at the request of C14-PARIS to the videographer and the delegated photographer.
The Annex of the Town Hall is not a commercial gallery. C14-PARIS has no commercial purpose and does not intend to collect a commission on any sales. The list of prices established is indicative and for any request for acquisition, the visitor is encouraged to contact the exhibitor directly. The organizer’s responsibility cannot be accepted in the event of a conflict between buyers and exhibitors.
Withdrawal of candidate
In case of the withdrawal of an exhibitor after the closure date of the catalog (late May) money already deposited will not be reimbursed. Signing the present regulations and the registration entail for the exhibitor the obligation to comply with them expressly as well as all the prescriptions that would be appropriate for the prefectural and municipal administrations to enact concerning the police and security measures, and without any recourse of any kind. Any delay, change of date or early closure beyond the control of C14-PARIS will not give right to any compensation. If C14-PARIS were forced to cancel the show, the refund of the sums collected would be immediately made. No recourse to an indemnity whatsoever against the organizers or the association C14-PARIS is admissible.
